Le Navet Bete's Production of King Arthur has been on a UK tour for the past year, our next stop is Bristol Old Vic Theatre from 29th July-3rd Aug. Directed by John Nicholson, I'm the Associate Director of this production.

I've been collaborating with Bristol Old Vic and Hauser & Wirth to create movement pieces inspired by Phyllida Barlow's remarkable exhibition "Unscripted" with young people at their site in Somerset. Phyllida's instinctual approach to creativity has been a huge inspiration. Highly recommend taking a visit - it's free!

I have co-directed a new piece with George Nichols through our company, Theatre Shed. This devised, ensemble-led production delves into the themes of community and suspicion. We will be performing at The Kelvin Players Theatre.

Inspired by Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus, this deaf-lead piece of devised theatre follows one charcater’s journey through the Seven Deadly Sins. Directing this work with Engage Together (a community theatre company for deaf and learning disabled adults, in partnership with Achieve Together) has been so joyful!
Working with the adult acting company at Bath Theatre Royal Engage, I’m directing a production of Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information. This unique play offers no predefined context, characters, settings, or sequence; allowing each production to be a fresh, interpretive experience. Our cast is a vibrant mix of 30 incredible individuals. It’s a pleasure to be working with such a large cast on this legendary text.
I’m currently Movement Director on an LGBTQIA+ retelling of Little Shop of Horrors, directed by Lydia Cook. This is with final year students at Bath Theatre Academy and will be at The Egg Theatre.
Alongside my team at Zone Club (Wiltshire Music Centre), we have been invited to run a workshop at the British Association for Music Therapy Conference at the Curve Theatre in Leicester.
We will demonstrate our inclusive and multi-disciplinary approach by leading a typical Zone Club session for music therapists from around the world.
This Christmas, I will be working as an access support worker for Quirk Theatre's production of Five Children & It. The show will debut at The Plough before moving to the Exeter Phoenix for the remainder of the festive season. In this role, I will also formulate a report reflecting on accessibility in theatre.
Theatre Shed is co-directed by myself and George Nichols; it is a space for non-professional adults to explore professional acting practice and performance. This Christmas we have been invited to perform at Gathering Voices Winter Fragments IV in which we will present two short plays exploring the theme of winter.
I’ve been working with Flamingo Chicks on Performance Deconstructed; a project that breaks down barriers facing disabled young people in accessing theatre and performance. I’ve been collaborating on this project as a performer/facilitator, traveling to different SEN schools across London. It’s an entirely accessible, sensory, pop-up stage, filled with wondrous props, enchanting costumes, smells, textures and sounds!

I'm now on the board of Trustees for Diverse City, a performing arts company championing social justice and inclusivity. They create new shows, support emerging artists, and engage communities in artistic activism. Their circus company, Extraordinary Bodies (in partnership with Cirque Bijou), exemplifies inclusive performance with audio descriptions, BSL interpretation, and inclusive rehearsals. I’m very excited to be on this journey with such a brilliant company.

I am currently Assistant Director on New International Encounter's Christmas production of The Snow Queen at The Tobacco Factory Theatre. Directed by Alex Byrne and devised by the company, this show will be running throughout December and into the new year.
The Eden Project and Rising Arts Agency have commissioned me to create a responsive event inspired by Pollinator Pathmaker by artist Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg. Move Makers at Windmill Hill City Farm will be an interactive event to explore mutualism and celebrate biodiversity. Performer Deepraj Singh will lead the audience through a series of offers in order to build an imaginary garden and celebrate how we move.

This academic year, I will be co-directing the Acting Lab course at Tobacco Factory Theatre alongside George Nichols. This course consists of weekly acting classes for adults – an opportunity to develop performance skills, explore scripts by celebrated playwrights and discover the approaches of renowned theatre practitioners.
Working alongside directors John Ward and Kate Pasco, I will be assisting and movement directing two devising plays at The Tobacco Factory Theatre this summer.
I’m currently Movement Director on ROAR which will be a parade through Weston-super-Mare. Collaborating with Theatre Orchard and IntoUniversity, this project aims to empower young people from underserved communities to challenge perceptions through art and performance.
The Schools Takeover Project is a chance to collaborate with a local SEN School to create an entire show at The Tobacco Factory Theatre. This year, I will be Movement Director on The Story Olympics, a play devised and created with New Fosseway.

I have been selected by the Tobacco Factory to be part of the
New Directions South West training programme. This is ran by the Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme and will be a 3 day intensive training workshop with industry professionals. Partner organisations include, The Exeter Northcott, Hall for Cornwall, Beyond Face, imPOSSIBLE Producing and The Tobacco Factory Theatre.
I have joined an amazing dance company called Movema and with them, I’m currently delivering a Shakespeare Project to schools across Bristol using movement to explore storytelling and wellbeing.

I have been commissioned by Art Acumen to make a site-responsive short film as part of a wider project called Creative Journeys. Working with three dancers, Joe Kennedy, Anna Kaszuba and Mia Macleod and supported by Gathering Voices, this piece will look at how different energies intersect on the crossing outside of St Mary Redcliffe Church.
I have joined the Tobacco Factory Theatres team as a Resident Facilitator on their Acting Lab Programme, working as an Assistant to Director John Ward.

In honour of International Women's Day 2021, I have created a experimental visual poetry collection. Written in response to inspiring stories from "100 Nasty Women of History" by Hannah Jewell.

Looking at human connection with the sea and the stories it can tell us; I will be Movement Director on a research and development project with Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company.

I will be Movement Director on a show at The Corn Exchange in Newbury called Unlocked and Unbolted. Directed by Bryn Holding, this piece will consist of 12 socially distanced performers, working on a grid design and exploring what this unprecedented time has been like for young people.

TheWorksTheatre is a new initiative from Gathering Voices and is based in an ex-factory site called PrintWorks in Bedminster. They will be running socially distanced performances with various artists. I have directed a 15 minute movement piece called After Party with performer Emile Clarke.
Albion Fields imagines a divided England of 2049 where the rich live in 100 storeys high skyscrapers, whilst the poor remain in ground level slums: dissent grows at all levels. Directed by Nick Spollin, I have had the pleasure of being Movement Director for this piece.
In association with Puppet Place and The House of Funny Noises; The Bristol 48 hour Puppetry Challenge is an opportunity to create a short original film, culminating in an Online Festival. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I have taken this time to study the art of Body Language with an online psychology course. I have gained a Diploma (98% and a distinction) through The Centre of Excellence and hope to use my new found knowledge across my work as a facilitator, movement director, puppeteer and beyond.
I have been commissioned by Rising Arts Agency to write a collection of Poems, based on the provocation “Covid-19: This is How my Life has changed…”.

Back by popular demand, WorldRoots Acappella, will be performing their walkabout act at Glastonbury Festival. Working alongside Director of Gathering Voices, Hannah Klewin, I will be running a workshop with the choir about presence, complicité and character. At the end of the session, the company will perform at The Tobacco Factory Sunday Market.
Working in Bristol Old Vic's newly converted Coopers' Loft, I have been involved in the research and development process of a new Live Art Performance, working as a Physical Theatre performer. I am working with Musical Director, Joesph Harris and Choreographer James Kent, who are collaborating with Fen Theatre (Maisie Newman and Rowan Evans) to create this highly immersive project.
Working alongside the Director of the Actors' Workshop Clara Marullo, I will be running two Masterclasses on how to create a personal devised piece for an audition.
After working with Raised Eyebrows Theatre Company on an initial research and development process; I have now been cast as Charmane for the next stage, which will be working towards previews at The Pound Arts Centre and the Strike a Light Festival.
This Christmas, I will be playing Neve in an immersive version of The Snow Queen, directed by Emma Williams. This walkabout performance is at Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester and is being produced by Strike a Light.
As a member of Move. Create. Play. I have been collaborating with various Bristol based Physical Theatre Practitioners. Founded by Performance Artist and Trainee Dance Movement Psychotherapist, Fiona Anderson - this community is a space to explore and develop work with like-minded people.
I am currently working with Raised Eyebrows Theatre on their new family show Charmane playing the character of the Fox. Supported by Arts Council England, Strike a Light, GL4 and Battersea Arts Centre, this show will subvert society’s gender norms using puppetry, story-telling and song.
Working as a Director, I have been researching and developing a piece of theatre, alongside Performer Nathan Richards, Writer Faye Winne and Musical Director Jack Morrison, exploring the tales of an immortal drag queen.
With the support of Gathering Voices I am currently researching and developing my own work as a writer and director. Over the course of 3 days, I am working with 10 wonderful artists to explore this physical theatre piece.
I am currently in rehearsal for a show called Hungry which will be performed at The Egg as part of Bath Theatre Royal’s New Writing Festival Out of your Mind. Directed by Stephanie Kempson, this piece explores the relationship between young people and adults.
I have been working with Director Stephanie Kempson and a brilliant group of artists on a piece called Merely Existing which will be performed at The Wardrobe Theatre at one of their monthly Sharp Teeth events.
I am currently in Headlong’s UK Tour of People, Places & Things, playing a figment of Emma’s of imagination – a double of herself! I am at Bath Theatre Royal, Bristol Old Vic and Exeter Northcott Theatre.
I am currently working on a devised piece with Up the Ante Theatre Company. The performance explores the idea of “who we are and why are we here”.
Following the success of the last performance, I will be performing The Tempest with Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company in The Bristol Shakespeare Festival. As a site specific piece, there will be performances at Windmill Hill City Farm and Arnos Vale Cemetery.
I am performing a one-off interactive storytelling version of Shakespeare’s The Tempest for early years at The Main Place at Coleford Library in Gloucestershire. Directed by Elizabeth Cummins of Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company, I will be playing Prospero, Ferdinand, Ariel and Trinculo.
I am currently on tour with Alter Ego Creative Solutions with their production of In the Net where I play Dotty, a 7 year old girl who gets sucked into the internet when she is not being safe online. The tour will be in the South of the UK during March, April and May.

Tmesis Theatre Company / September 2016
I recently spent a week with Tmesis Theatre Company, observing and working with them on their newest production of Happy Hour. I had an amazing experience with this fantastic company and also had the privilege of writing a blog about my time with them.
I have completed my 3 years of Acting training at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) with a First Class Honours Degree.
It's been a fantastic experience and I have learnt so much.

During May, I had the exciting opportunity of working at Physical Fest in Liverpool. It is an annual International Festival hosted by Tmesis Theatre company. Over 2 weeks, I took part in workshops, street theatre day and watched many inspiring performances.
I will be playing the title role in an adaptation of the Greek Myth Electra, as part of a short play festival in Liverpool in May. Written by Hailey Mashburn and directed by Rhonwen Cash, this will be a modern take on this old tale.
2 Commendations / March 2016
After being selected to represent LIPA in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Awards 2016 I have received 2 Commendations. I was a awarded a Special Commendation for "excellent prose sight-reading" for Queen Victoria’s Letter, and for my "outstanding duologue" with Jodie Micciche for The Girls’ Guide To Saving The World.
I will be playing Suzie in a new piece of writing, Who's Afraid Of The Working Class written by Liverpool playwright Luke Barnes, at the Unity Theatre at the beginning of March. Directed by Will Hammond, I will also be the movement director for this exciting project.

I will be performing in LIPA’s 2016 Graduating Actor’s Showcase in the Royal Exchange Theatre Studio, Manchester, on 27 January 2016 at 13.00.
I will be performing in LIPA’s 2016 Graduating Actor’s Showcase in the Soho Theatre, London, on 21st January 2016 at 13.00.
I will be playing Rachel in Mike Bartlett’s 13, directed by Adam Penford. With coincidences, omens and visions colliding with the political reality of the UK, this play is an exciting task for myself and the rest of the cast.
LIPA has given me the fantastic opportunity of working with a professional production crew, in order to film a scene for my showreel.
I will be playing the role of Suki in Harold Pinter’s Celebration, directed by Gari Jones. This is part of a one act play festival at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, in the Sennheiser Studio.
I am playing a number of roles in a stripped-back, all female version of Shakespeare’s Henry V. Playing French Princess Katherine, Irish Captain MacMorris and the regal Bedford is going to be an interesting contrast. Directed by Judith McSpadden, there will be a chance for some playful ensemble work and martial arts!
