David Copperfield Rehearsal group

David Copperfield / January 2026 Details

I've been Associate Director on David Copperfield: A Life for over a year, and we're now on the home stretch. The production plays at Bath Theatre Royal from Friday 20 - Sunday 22 February 2026.

Created by acclaimed writer-director duo Sally Cookson and Mike Akers - whose productions of Jane Eyre and Peter Pan transferred from Bristol Old Vic to the National Theatre - this ambitious production is being made with a company of 120 community participants. The show promises a thrilling theatrical adventure, featuring visually stunning storytelling, creative BSL integration, and live music throughout.

I'm Assistant Director on Jack and the Beanstalk, coming to Exeter Northcott Theatre for Christmas 2025. Directed by Artistic Director Martin Berry in collaboration with Le Navet Bête, this spectacular all-ages production is packed with laughs, thrills, spills, dazzling special effects and giant amounts of fun. It's the story you know and love - told in a way you'll never forget.
 
Shakeslam

Shakeslam 2025 / October 2025 Details

I'm Director of Shakeslam 2025 which will be performed by Bath Theatre Academy Students and is an investigation into adapting Shakespeare for the modern day. It's about looking at what we love about the Bard, while also asking why we're still putting his shows on 400 years later. From writing new pieces inspired by Shakespeare, to radically re-staging his work, Shakeslam is an experiment in cutting, cropping, remixing and, sometimes, throwing Shakespeare out the window.

I had the pleasure of working as an access support worker on Play with Paraorchestra, a new artist development project for young disabled musicians. Following an open call, six musicians aged 18-25 from across the UK came to Bristol to rehearse and perform alongside Paraorchestra members, developing their skills, networks, and experience in an inclusive and collaborative environment.

I’m Associate Director on The Trouble With Truth, an evening of three short plays: Trifles and The People by Susan Glaspell, and He Said, She Said by Alice Gerstenberg. Performed by The Clandestines and directed by Eleanor Hope-Jones, the production runs for three nights at The Wardrobe Theatre.

From January 2025 -2026 I will be Associate Director on David Copperfield directed by Sally Cookson. This is a new adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic novel and will be performed by over 100 community performers at Bath Theatre Royal.

Working with the adult acting company at Bath Theatre Royal Engage, I’m directing a production of Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information. This unique play offers no predefined context, characters, settings, or sequence; allowing each production to be a fresh, interpretive experience. Our cast is a vibrant mix of 30 incredible individuals. It’s a pleasure to be working with such a large cast on this legendary text.

I've been working with Flamingo Chicks on Performance Deconstructed; a project that breaks down barriers facing disabled young people in accessing theatre and performance. I've been collaborating on this project as a performer/facilitator, traveling to different SEN schools across London. It's an entirely accessible, sensory, pop-up stage, filled with wondrous props, enchanting costumes, smells, textures and sounds!

I'm now on the Board of Trustees for Diverse City, a performing arts company championing social justice and inclusivity. They create new shows, support emerging artists, and engage communities in artistic activism. Their circus company, Extraordinary Bodies (in partnership with Cirque Bijou), exemplifies inclusive performance with audio descriptions, BSL interpretation, and inclusive rehearsals. I'm very excited to be on this journey with such a brilliant company.

The Eden Project and Rising Arts Agency have commissioned me to create a responsive event inspired by  Pollinator Pathmaker  by artist Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg. Move Makers at Windmill Hill City Farm will be an interactive event to explore mutualism and celebrate biodiversity. Performer Deepraj Singh will lead the audience through a series of offers in order to build an imaginary garden and celebrate how we move.

I am currently on tour with Alter Ego Creative Solutions with their production of In the Net where I play Dotty, a 7 year old girl who gets sucked into the internet when she is not being safe online. The tour will be in the South of the UK during March, April and May.

I recently spent a week with Tmesis Theatre Company, observing and working with them on their newest production of Happy Hour. I had an amazing experience with this fantastic company and also had the privilege of writing a blog about my time with them.

During May, I had the exciting opportunity of working at Physical Fest in Liverpool. It is an annual International Festival hosted by Tmesis Theatre Company. Over 2 weeks, I took part in workshops, a street theatre day and watched many inspiring performances.

Electra / May 2016

I will be playing the title role in an adaptation of the Greek Myth Electra, as part of a short play festival in Liverpool in May. Written by Hailey Mashburn and directed by Rhonwen Cash, this will be a modern take on this old tale.

After being selected to represent LIPA in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Awards 2016 I have received 2 Commendations. I was a awarded a Special Commendation for "excellent prose sight-reading" for Queen Victoria’s Letter, and for my "outstanding duologue" with Jodie Micciche for The Girls’ Guide To Saving The World.

I will be playing Suzie in a new piece of writing, Who's Afraid Of The Working Class written by Liverpool playwright Luke Barnes, at the Unity Theatre at the beginning of March. Directed by Will Hammond, I will also be the movement director for this exciting project.

I am playing a number of roles in a stripped-back, all female version of Shakespeare’s Henry V. Playing French Princess Katherine, Irish Captain MacMorris and the regal Bedford is going to be an interesting contrast. Directed by Judith McSpadden, there will be a chance for some playful ensemble work and martial arts!
